Morgan Doane, a YALSA member and youth librarian at the Walker Branch of the Kent District Library in Michigan, is the winner of a free online course from YALSA! How did Morgan win? By taking the time to complete our YALSA Membership Survey.

The Member Survey grew out of President Sarah Debraski’s theme, Engaging the YALSA Community. We conducted the survey all through August, and about 20% of our total membership gave YALSA important feedback on various aspects of our organizations services and resources. The Division and Membership Promotion Committee will analyze the survey results and report them to the YALSA Executive Committee, who will use the results to decide on future YALSA services and priorities.

We appreciate the time that everyone took to complete the survey (we had more than 1,000 respondents!). Your help in determining YALSA’s future was essential — it’s your organization.
