Announcing the 2014 WrestleMania Reading Challenge!

Now through March 7, 2014, children between the ages of 4-12 can select a WWE Superstar Reading Buddy and read digital books to participate in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge. New this year, teens ages 13-18 can select a WWE Superstar Pen Pal, read a book and write a brief essay about their book choice. Through this expanded partnership with Pearson Foundation’s digital reading initiative, We Give Books, and YALSA, both age groups will have the opportunity to win prizes including a trip to WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, a visit from a WWE Superstar and book donations for their local schools and libraries.’  Have your kid and teen patrons sign up at’  YALSA will be giving away up to 9 $5,000 grants to libraries with the best programming related to the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.’  Funds can be used for enhancing the library’s teen/tween collections or for literacy-focused activities.’  Simply plan your event(s), which need to take place between now and March 7, then tell us what you did via this online application form: and submit that by no later than April 1st.’  WWE has put together some great resources to make it easy for you to promote the Challenge to your tweens and teens and their parents.’  Check them out at:’  Thanks for all that you do to ensure the young people in your community have access to great library services and resources!

My favorite book is Winn Dixie because this lonely dog one day the dog went to go in the store and the manager was mad because the lonley dog was all dirty then the dog run around and the market. Then the little girl took the dog home. When the dog had to get in the bath he was so dirty that he smelled like a horse butt. And the girl and the dog lived happy with ethier
