Learn about YALSA in a basic orientation which will include an overview of the division and its activities. New members and those considering membership will learn more about the benefits, and established members are welcome to attend this great networking opportunity.   1. I don’t think the library education discussions are in the event planner. They’ll be at the Social Responsibilities Round Table (SRRT) booth in the convention center, booth 3450. More info here.

    YALSA 101 and the last hour of the “Reading With Your Ears” preconference overlap. If you didn’t mind leaving the preconference early, or if it finished up before five, you’re more than welcome to attend YALSA 101. YALSA 101 is open to any registered conference attendee. One thing to take into account, though, is that the preconference is at the Marriot and YALSA 101 is at the convention center. So, if you wanted to get between the two quickly, the best thing to do is take a cab.
