My Homework screen

My Homework is a free tool that helps students keep track of their assignments, schedules, projects, and test dates. Assignments can either be viewed in list form, as shown above, or in a calendar format that allows teens to quickly scan their month or day to see what’s coming up. Teens enter their classes to keep track of their schedule and where they’re supposed to be during the day. Each time a teen adds an assignment, they type in the assignment name, the class, and the due date. These assignments are then ordered so that a student can pay attention to their most urgent due dates first. In addition, assignments can be sent to the teen’s email address, or someone else’s email address.

This app requires some start-up, but once a teen enters their information, they should be able to keep their academic life organized and easily accessible on their phones. While an app like Evernote might have more bells and whistles, My Homework strips away everything but the essentials, leaving teens better equipped to manage their workload.
