The Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) Reads 4 Teens recommended reading lists for teen patrons is now available for purchase as a digital download through the ALA Store. Reads 4 Teens is a collection of the best in the latest teen literature and includes 32 customizable pamphlets and 10 bookmarks, each featuring a different theme or genre.
All titles featured in this resource appeared on YALSA’s 2013 lists of recommended reading or were honored by a 2013 YALSA book award. Themes that are sure to get your teens reading include “Adventures in Time,†“Could you Survive,†“Around the World in 60 Books†and “Wrapped in Romance.”
The pamphlets can be customized to include library information, hours or teen specific programming before making copies available to patrons. All 42 resources included in this digital download can easily be printed in both color and black/white on 8.5†x 11†paper and cost only $29, with ALA/YALSA members receiving a 10-percent discount.
