If you’re interested in using your programming skills to engage members with the YALSA Teen Programming HQ website, this is a great opportunity to apply!
This Advisory Board will develop and maintain the Teen Programming HQ site. They will work with the Member Manager of the site to collect content, generate ideas and gather feedback.
This is a one year position for 7 members. You will need to be a YALSA member and abide by the ALA Policy of the three committee limit.
The alignment to YALSA’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Goals for this Advisory Board include:
1. Audit existing YALSA activities to create a more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming organizational environment
2. Recruit, retain, and develop a more diverse membership
3. Align our policies and practices with our EDI vision
4. Ensure that YALSA members know how to develop inclusive and equitable library services and programs
